This checker is designed to minimise personal data use. You can use the core search and review features without creating an account.

EPC results are requested from a server-side API that proxies official public EPC data. Search activity and technical diagnostics may be logged at server level for reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

Data this checker may process

• Postcodes and selected EPC record identifiers (for lookup requests).
• Basic technical request data, such as timestamp, route, and IP address, for service protection and monitoring.
• Email address only if you enter one in the trial form before opening CertNudge signup.

What happens to the email field

• The email field is used to prefill CertNudge signup when you choose a plan and start a trial.
• It is not required to use the EPC checker itself.
• It is not used to create a CertNudge account unless you complete signup on CertNudge.

Third-party services

• EPC data source: UK government EPC data service.
• Hosting and infrastructure: Microsoft Azure.
